Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about how PoodleVPN works, how we handle privacy, how our plans differ, and why this service is built differently on purpose.

No. Not traffic logs, not connection logs, not DNS logs, not timestamps tied to users, and not analytics data. We perform no collection of identifiable information at any step of the process.
Accounts create identity: usernames, emails, passwords, billing profiles, stored metadata. PoodleVPN removes all of it. Your WireGuard public key *is* your account — and it contains zero personal information.
You generate a WireGuard keypair → send the public key → we send back your config. You never give personal information, emails, or passwords.
Automated payments require accounts, receipts, databases, fraud screening, and analytics. All of these destroy privacy. Manual BTC/XMR payments keep you anonymous and remove all identity from the process.
We accept Bitcoin (BTC) and Monero (XMR). XMR is recommended for maximum anonymity.
VPN: Your device → Swiss WireGuard → Internet (DNS in Iceland).

VPN + Proxy: Your device → Swiss WireGuard → Icelandic Proxy → Internet (DNS also in Iceland). Adds a second jurisdiction to split metadata across countries.

VPN + Proxy & Tor: Your device → VPN → Proxy → Tor network → Internet. Maximum unlinkability for high-threat users.
Splitting traffic and DNS across two countries prevents any one jurisdiction from seeing the full picture. Switzerland sees encrypted traffic → Iceland sees DNS → neither sees both. This is called jurisdiction splitting.
The VPN plan is the fastest because it is single-hop. The proxy hop adds minimal overhead. The Tor mode is the slowest (expected — Tor prioritizes anonymity over speed).
Tor is safe when used correctly. PoodleVPN feeds Tor traffic from a proxy, *not your real IP*, which prevents direct exposure at entry nodes. For maximum safety, don’t log into personal accounts while using Tor.
PoodleVPN is built for privacy, not streaming. We don’t compete with mass-market VPNs in that space. Our focus is on security and anonymity.
Yes — you can generate multiple WireGuard keys and have multiple configurations. Each device should have its own keypair.
VPN traffic: Switzerland
DNS: Iceland
Proxy hop: Iceland
Tor exit: depends on Tor circuit

This setup ensures no country has the full picture of your traffic.
It significantly improves privacy and unlinkability, but your OPSEC still matters. Avoid logging into personal accounts if you want true anonymity.
Yes. DNS is forced through our Icelandic DNS resolver by design. Even if your OS tries to leak, WireGuard’s configuration forces DNS through the tunnel.
Your ISP can see you are connected to a WireGuard server in Switzerland (encrypted traffic). They cannot see what you're doing inside the tunnel.
